What's the best piece of advice or valuable thing(s) you've ever learned in school?

This might not be the 'best' advise from a teacher but this one actually got stuck on my mind. My College Teacher once said.. "Learn a little of everything but do not learn too much something" Because if you learn too much of something, it may become an addiction. While if you learn a little of everything, it will be an addition to your experience.
This can also be expressed as YOLO: You Only Live Once so why not experience everything? Well said, right?
