I can relate to that sentiment. If I'm the one at fault, I would probably give my partner space and pray for their peace. Especially if they have already moved on, I wouldn't want to bother them anymore lol

I read something about this before, I don't know where and my memory is blurry but it sounded like this:


It's like you can only be friends to your ex- lover if;

-You don't totally or truly love him/her during your relationship 
Or 
-You still love him/her and settle to be contented as his/her friend instead.
